Each year, 600 million good quality products are thrown away while 9 million people in France live below the poverty line. It is the continuation of this constant born in 2008, the Agency of the Donation in Nature (DNA), with a double objective to fight against the waste and the exclusion.

how the agency works ?

DNA redistributes to the poorest through 750 local associations. 900,000 people in need are thus helped each year (social and solidary grocery stores, accommodation center …).

Needs on the ground are important and all sectors are concerned: cosmetics, hygiene, maintenance, textiles, household appliances, etc.
Destroy them is a cost, store them too. Or, the circular economy has a role to play. Beyond the immediate benefit perceived in economic and environmental terms, reinjecting these products into the circuit of consumable products also means developing a social dimension.

A team winning the Google Impact Challenge Award

Today, the Donation Agency has 12 employees, some thirty volunteers in all the territories and is growing by 15% per year. Supported by Google, winner of the Google Impact Challenge (Grand Prix Convergence), the association is developing on the digital level with the first online non-food collection for the general public : Le Panier Partage.
